A team of legal and technology experts who have come together to transform the way by which personal injury claims are managed using AI and an Archive of successful personal injury claims

Access to law fundamentally changed in 1997 when no win/no fee (NWNF) was introduced. From 1997, claimants did not need to meet the costs of their claim, enabling solicitors to fund the successful litigation by recovering their costs from the insured defendant. The fee was undetermined and was passed onto the defendant in the event of a successful claim. The fees would encompass the work carried out by the law company, specialist barristers and other investigation costs. To overcome the high costs of this litigation, “fixed fee recovery” has been introduced since April 2013 and then extended in October 2023. These new rules set fixed recoverable fees for claims at levels up to £25,000 (for claims commenced after April 2013) and then £100,000 (for accidents occurring after October 2023). This is now driving the need for cost efficiencies into the process of making a claim, with solicitors unable to pass on the costs of hiring barristers and instead having to meet their fees out of fixed costs.

AI Barrister is built on 1000’s of successful claims that have been used to train an AI model that generates documents for court submission. The service allows case documents to be uploaded and analysed. This analysis compares and looks for similarity in previous submissions and then generates the necessary documents for the claim to be submitted
